Robin Saunders, President


For over 25 years Robin has worked in various aspects of both the Commercial and Residential real estate business.  She is currently the Team Leader for Saunders Luxury Group at Keller Williams Luxury.   Robin’s top production and community service has earned her the prestigious designation of Platinum Top 50 CENTURION.  She is consistently one of the top area realtors according to the San Antonio Business Journal and Texas Monthly has awarded her the Five Star Realtor designation. 


Robin recognizes the importance of giving back to the community and is active in supporting a variety of charitable organizations including Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries, RED, and Young Life.  She is currently President of the Board of Directors for LeaderSteps, has served on the Keller Williams Agent Leadership Council, and participated in Leadership Boerne.  Robin has enjoyed her leadership and involvement in Mom’s In Prayer, PTO, Bible Study Fellowship, and various ministries at her church. 

Robin lives in Fair Oaks Ranch, with her husband David.  Both of their sons, Zach and Jake, participated in the LeaderSteps program before graduating from Boerne Champion High School and heading off to Texas A&M University.  When she's not working or volunteering, Robin enjoys travel, hiking, cooking, and entertaining family and friends.


Bryan D'Spain


Bryan was raised in Boerne, graduated from Boerne High School and went on to earn a Bachelor degree from UTSA in Criminal Justice and a Masters in Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University.  He is currently employed with Security State Bank and Trust-Boerne as a Senior Vice President/Loan Officer. Bryan's wife, Ashlie, is a counselor at Boerne Middle School-North and they have two children, John and Sarah, who represent the sixth generation of their family in Kendall County.  John graduated Boerne High School in 2017 and is currently attending The University of Notre Dame, while Sarah is a student at Boerne High School, Class of 2020. 

Bryan is President of Sam's Kids Student Foundation, a member of the Centurions of Kendall County, a member of the Hill Country Parkinson’s Board, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #10940, member of the Kendall County Jail Ministry and active in St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.  He is also a Reserve Police Officer for the City of Boerne.  He and his family enjoy hobbies including hunting, snow skiing, and any kind of travel.

Denise Ellis


Denise Ellis is a CPA and graduate of Texas A&M University with Business degrees in Accounting and Finance.  She spent the first ten years of her adult life working in public accounting, where she specialized in financial institution and employee benefit plan audits.  The next dozen years were spent raising her two daughters and using her accounting, business, and parenting skills to assist a variety of not-for-profit organizations, including many of the schools and churches where she and her family attended. 

In recent years, Denise returned to the work force outside the home and currently heads up the accounting departments at Sirell Real Estate Services, a full-service real estate development and management company in San Antonio, Texas that she and her husband, Bill, started in 2010, and Curry Creek Homes, a custom home building company they own with Bill's brother.  Denise and Bill are also partners in Local Coffee Enterprises, LLC, which has retail coffee shops in San Antonio and Austin. 

Denise lives in Fair Oaks Ranch with her husband, Bill.  They have two daughters, who are both students at Texas A&M and graduates of the LeaderSteps program.  Kathryn is studying biomedical science and hopes to attend dental school.  Allison is a business student at the Mays Business school with law school aspirations.  In addition to all things coffee, Denise enjoys gardening, spending time with her family and watching movies.

Angie Lemmons


 Angie has an accounting degree and an MBA from Texas A&M University.  After working for many years in various public and corporate accounting positions, she retired and turned her attention to raising her daughters and volunteering.  Over the past 15 years, Angie has served as an officer of numerous non-profit organizations including the Boerne Education Foundation, the Acrobatic Gymnastics Foundation, and numerous PTOs at her daughters’ schools ranging from elementary through high school.

Angie lives in the Boerne area with her husband and three daughters.  All three girls benefited greatly from their participation in the LeaderSteps program during their senior year at Boerne Champion High School.
The two oldest daughters, Hayley and Kelsey, both attended Texas A&M in the Mays Business Honors program and are currently working for consulting firms. The youngest, Avery currently attends A&M, also in the Mays Business Honors program. 

Todd M. Schneider


Todd is a San Antonio native who graduated from St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and The University of Texas San Antonio with a Master of Business Administration. His banking career began at a San Antonio based bank in 1998 with a focus on sales, service, and training. He transitioned to a mortgage career in 2004 as a registered loan officer followed by mortgage banker in 2007. Todd joined Jefferson Bank as a mortgage originator in 2011 and has repeatedly earned a spot on the San Antonio Business Journal’s list of Top 25 Residential Mortgage Lenders since 2013.  

Todd’s wife, Ashley, works in the marketing and communications field, and they are blessed with two wonderful children.   Being involved in the community and his kid’s activities are important to Todd as he has volunteered for organizations such as the Boy Scouts of America, Junior Achievement, YMCA, CYO, his HOA board, Rotary International, and the Boerne Chamber of Commerce. Todd enjoys many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, and swimming as well as going to the beach and spending time with his family. 

Jenya "J" Semenov


In addition to building highly effective teams around the world as a business coach, Jenya Semenov recently add a mobile laser tag to enhance the role of play in reprogramming a mindset. He grew up behind the “iron wall” of the Soviet Union in a family of coaches and has worked with multinational, global and small organizations as well as governments. His peers and clients call him “coach-J” for the impact he is leaving.  Jenya has a master’s degree in International Business Development and Economics which he earned in Russia.  As a trainer and coach, throughout his career Jenya has developed a number of effective strategies that have helped leaders engage their organizations, build an irresistible culture and develop thousands professionals. As a speaker he helps others find internal motivators to raise their influence and add value to others.

Jenya resides in Boerne, TX with his wife Karly and three future leaders Aleksei (12), Josiah (9) and a princess Dasha (7). He is actively involved in Oak Hills Church and the Boerne community. Jenya speaks to organizations on team-building and ways to effectively engage their biggest asset – people. He writes a blog on LinkedIn focusing on leadership through influence, communication and teamwork. 

Susan Allen Shipp


Susan Allen Shipp is currently with CenturyLink Technology Solutions and is running a Channel & Alliance Marketing Program.  She was previously employed at Rackspace in their Marketing Department.  She has over 25+ years in a variety of sales and marketing roles in the high-tech industry with companies like MCI, Verizon Business and VeriSign. Susan attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master’s of Science in Communication/Human Relations.  She's been involved in many volunteering activities through the years including Founding Board Member of Boerne Junior Cotillion, The Junior League of Houston and various school and church programs.  Susan lives in Fair Oaks Ranch with her husband, David; son Sam, who was a previous Leadersteps participant and a 2012 graduate of Boerne Champion High School, is entering his senior year at the University of Arkansas where he is in the school of architecture; and Charlie attends Boerne Champion High School – Class of 2016. 

Dr. Jodi Spoor


Jodi Spoor was named Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning for Boerne ISD in June of 2017.  She previously served as Principal at Boerne Champion High School for six years. 

Dr. Spoor holds her doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas-San Antonio.  She also holds advanced degrees from Trinity University and Texas Tech University.  Her undergraduate degree in Spanish and Latin American Area Studies was earned at Texas Tech.

In addition to her administrative duties, Dr. Spoor also taught Spanish at Champion.  She retains her standing as an adjunct profession at Northwest Vista College.  Previously, Dr. Spoor served as adjunct professor in the Graduate School of Education at UTSA.

Dr. Spoor’s career includes teaching and administrative positions with San Antonio Academy, Northside ISD, and Harlandale ISD.  Dr. Spoor and her husband, Stephen, have two children, both of whom participated in LeaderSteps: Emma, who graduated from Champion and Texas A&M University and is a 7th grade teacher in San Antonio, and Eileen, who also graduated from Champion and attends Northwest Vista College.  

Art Sullivan


Art grew up in Houston and moved to Fair Oaks Ranch with his wife Heather in 2010. He studied Finance at Texas A&M and started in the Financial Services Industry in 1985. He spent the next 22 years working for Merrill Lynch and Smith Barney as a Financial Advisor and a Branch Manager in Texas and Oklahoma. For the last four years, Art has worked in Fixed Income Sales for Advisors Asset Management in their Boerne office. He has served on the Board for the Fair Oaks Ranch Country Club and currently serves on the Board of the Hal Lynch Memorial Scholarship Foundation. Art and Heather’s two children are both graduates of Boerne Champion High School and Boerne LeaderSteps. Hannah is a junior at Texas Tech and Luke is a sophomore at Texas A&M. 

Ben Zimmerman

Originally from Cuero, Texas, Ben Zimmerman and his wife, Samantha, moved to Boerne from San Antonio in July of 2013. Ben is a local attorney and business owner, currently serving as the Managing Partner of The Zimmerman Firm, PLLC. Prior to opening The Zimmerman Firm, Ben served as General Counsel for Kalypso L.P., a Boerne based business management consulting firm. Ben earned a B.A. in Political Science from Texas A&M University and a J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law.

With a heart for service and leadership, Ben has served in many leadership capacities, including as Chairman of the Board of Advocates for St. Mary’s University School of Law, a youth group leader, and a Boerne YMCA youth basketball coach.  In his spare time, Ben enjoys playing intramural sports, coaching, fishing, country dancing, and spending quality time with family and friends.
